PRX Life is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal published by the American Physical Society (APS). Launched in 2024, the journal covers research at the intersection of physics and the life sciences. Topics include biophysics, quantitative biology, soft matter physics, and biological systems engineering. PRX Life aims to publish high-quality, impactful research that uses physical approaches to advance understanding of living systems across all scales.

PRX Life is part of the APS's "PRX" family of journals, which also includes Physical Review X. The journal seeks to promote the cross-disciplinary application of physical principles to problems in the life sciences, ranging from molecular and cellular mechanics to tissue, organismal, ecological, and evolutionary dynamics.

The inaugural Lead Editor of PRX Life is biophysicist Margaret Lise Gardel of the University of Chicago.[1] In addition to Gardel, PRX Life has a team of associate editors and aims to provide a responsive editorial process to foster interdisciplinary advances between physics and biology.[2]
