PSYCHONET
PSYCHONET is an experiment in radical self expression, modeled on the Stanford Prison Experiment. It was started in May 2019 by 100% grassfed chad, with Chief Retard. [1]
The prime instantiation of PSYCHONET is a Facebook chat group with a rotating roster of participants, contrived as a social experiment in psychological manipulation. The Group is founded on minimalist rules: no doxxing, and no spam. By virtue of their inclusion, participants consent to be manipulated at any time, by any person in the chat. Group membership is by invitation only — those who want to join are vouched for by existing members until a quorum is reached in the community to accept membership. The member list is periodically purged of inactives to keep the group small and dynamic.[2]
There are several celebrity members of PSYCHONET who make appearances from time to time, including Alex K. Chen[3] of Quora fame and angel investor David Segura.[4][5]
