Multiple award-winning Liberian Philanthropic Actress and TV personality Fredica Audry Julius, popularly known as Pusska Kerina, has not only been lifting Liberia high but has also been making sure that empowering some less opportune Liberians living at the Buduburam refugee camp is not left out.

The brand influencer and actress, who served as the Liberian Grebo tribal queen and she represented about four counties [regions] in Ghana, proved that the only solution to poverty and financial freedom is self-empowerment through skill acquisition. If our people are empowered, we will depend less and be more productive, says Queen Fredica Julius.

She single-handedly engaged Liberians in Ghana on skills empowerment training programs on three different occasions, which has put hundreds of trainees in a position of not depending on any form of support from anywhere, instead it has put them in a position of recruiting people as their business expands. Based on testimonies from trainees, they have learnt how to make hair grease, body cream, wine, insecticides, shampoo, wine, cake, pizza, ice cream, perfume, etc., which also came with startup empowerment materials.

Pusska Kerina, as she is widely called, received an award from the Covid19 Eminence Award organized by Rectitude International Mission in Ghana, October 2020. She was decorated as the most Charitable Celebrity of the year, courtesy of her voluntary service to humanity. After a review on her training program which she conducted in January, and empowering hundreds of people to start up small-scale businesses, which survived them greatly when the pandemic struck in March.

The Grebo Queen Ghana, H.R.H Fredica Julius, has received back-to-back awards in Ghana, for her work in both humanitarian efforts and in the movie industry, which is being recognized in different parts of the world. She received an award as set designer of the year 2020, courtesy of an amazing job she put together in the much-talked-about movie, Witches Empire. She is currently nominated again as Brand Ambassador of the year, in the FloodLight Excellence Award, which is scheduled to take place in Ashanti Region Ghana in April 2021.
