P. R. Judson is an Indian visual artist and architectural illustrator based in Kochi, Kerala. He has been featured in Indian and international media for creating architectural sketches in an inverted orientation.[1]
Early life and career
According to interviews published in Indian media, Judson began drawing at a young age and developed an interest in perspective sketching.[2] He worked as a 3D visualiser in the late 1980s, producing architectural illustrations and hand-drawn renderings.
Judson later founded Judson Associates Architects and Interiors, a design firm based in Kochi. Media reports describe the firm as working on architectural and interior design projects in India and the United Arab Emirates.[3]
Upside-down sketching
Judson has been noted for drawing architectural sketches while holding the paper upside down. His work received attention in the United Arab Emirates after he demonstrated the technique in public settings, including a sketch of the Dubai Opera.[4]
