Pablo Grandi (Coronel Moldes, Córdoba, November 28, 1988, is an Argentinian bassist known for being a member of the band of Hard Rock, Black Roses. He currently resides in Coronel Moldes.
Pablo was one of the founders of the band together with Alejandro Leone and the guitarist Guido Giovaninni in 2006 in the city of Coronel Moldes, the band would come to an end at the end of the year 2013.
Biography[edit]
Pablo was born on November 28, 1988, in Coronel Moldes in the south of Córdoba Province, Argentina. He became interested in music when he attended the Salesian school of Ambrosio Olmos, which led him to meet his two childhood friends Guido Giovaninni[1] and Alejandro Leone, who insisted that he start playing the electric bass. Already in his teens, the bassist showed an enormous curiosity for music, especially in groups like Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith.
Early years (2002–2005)[edit]
At the age of 14, Pablo was in his second year of high school when he decided to become interested in music by attending a workshop that was taught at the same school, there the first attempts were made to form a band, they were able to carry out some rehearsals but he was never able to give himself the opportunity to form a band. After a few years, at the age of 16, Pablo decided in his hometown to make a proposal to some of his friends to form a band, but it was all in vain since no one showed much apparent interest. Everything changed when he met his two childhood friends Guido Giovaninni and Alejandro Leone, who already had prior knowledge of music and were themselves interested in forming a Rock band.
Black Roses 2006–2013[edit]
Everything started when the guitarist Guido Giovaninni and Alejandro Leone, who had tried to form a band in previous years without success, invited Pablo to participate in a musical project that later it would be called Black Roses. By the middle of October of 2005 Pablo was already in a stable formation of a band that would later be known as Black Roses. After several rehearsals in his hometown, the long-awaited debut with the band arrived, which unexpectedly manages to captivate and show its rock (it is worth mentioning that Black Roses did not have its own drummer in that then) that would later lead them to be one of the most convening and well-known bands in the south of Córdoba Province.
For the 2008 Pablo would enter a recording studio for the first time with Black Roses. The album has a total of 12 songs,[2] where we find the controversial song "Nuestros Gobiernos", "Guerras" through which the band achieves popularity and "Nadie Nos Detendra" the single and perhaps the most popular song on the album.
Songs:
- Cuarto sombrío
- Síntomas
- Eterna Oscuridad
- Nadie nos Detendrá
- Siempre Estaré
- Nuestros Gobiernos
- Esto Es Rock N Roll
- Open Mind
- Guerras
- Te fuiste
- Todo lo deje por ti
- La isla de San Pelotas
Post–Black Roses stage[edit]
After Black Roses was lost in time, Pablo is summoned to be part of a project in the United States, which led him to work with a record company that made a series of remasters of songs like Not Running Anymore by Jon Bon Jovi,[3] with which they counted on Pablo to record the bass of those songs.
