Pacific Islands Study Circle

The Pacific Islands Study Circle is an international philatelic society whose members study the stamps and the postal history of the islands of the Pacific Ocean.[1]

Its philatelic studies range from the earliest philatelic times to the present day, and include stamps and covers, censorship, postage dues, meter marks, postcards, military campaigns, sea-mails, and airmails throughout the region.

The Pacific Islands Study Circle's award-winning quarterly journal, Pacifica, has been published since 1962 and covers a wide range of articles contributed by members, news items about the area and activities, as well as sections reviewing recent publications and auctions.

PISC has displayed significant parts of its members' collections at the Royal Philatelic Society London in 1970, 1990 and 2018.

The Pacific Islands Study Circle is affiliated to the Association of British Philatelic Societies and the American Philatelic Society.
