Pak Education Society
PAK Education Society/Pakistan Development Network is a Non-Governmental Organization and Social enterprise working for the promotion of Education, Economic development, Information and Communication Technology, Youth development and Renewable energy. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 under Joint Stock. Its head office is in Karachi and it primarily works in remote and neglected areas of KPK, Sindh and Balochistan. It is largely self-sustaining through its entrepreneurial approach, but the German Government, SDC, the European Union and other organizations have supported it through various projects. PES played a key role in the UN World Summit on Information Society and conceptualized the idea of a Third World Silicon Valley. It has relations with various international and national organizations. Mr. Zeeshan Shoki is the founding chief executive of the organization.
