Pakistan Democratic Movement

The opposition parties registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan called an All Parties Conference in Islamabad on 20th Sept 2020 and announced formation of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and further decided to lunch mass campaign to dislodge the current government of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan. PDM issued a 26-point resolution to lead and guide nationwide protests in an integrated manner. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman stated that the current government was granted "fake stability by establishment", general elections 2018 were rigged and further increasing interference of the establishment in internal affairs of the country has put nation's stability in danger. The forum demanded fresh elections in a transparent manner.
