Pal Pal News is a media company dedicated to social causes, minority issues and democracy and has web properties on YouTube and Facebook. Based in Delhi, India, it largely covers stories on minorities, socially oppressed communities and women. It was launched as a stand-alone Hindi YouTube channel in 2015. In January 2022, its YouTube channel[1] crossed two million subscriber count. Pal Pal News reports has been used by other news portals to verify false claims made by some media houses about Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.[2] It is a member of the DIGIPUB News India Foundation, an organisation of digital only independent news platforms in India.[3]
Khushboo Akhtar is the founder and editor-in-chief of Pal Pal News, while Nadeem Akram is its editor. Akhtar was featured in the popular Hindi newspaper Jansatta as a young voice who gave space to women issues and disadvantaged communities.[4]
Pal Pal News has been recognised as a voice of disadvantaged sections of India, for which it has been lauded as well as criticised.[5]
