Pallas Capital (stylized as PALLAS CAPITAL) is an Austrian financial institution with a focus on investment banking.[1] Since its founding in 2007, the company has handled projects with a total volume of one billion euros.[2]
History[edit]
In 2007, investment banker Florian Koschat founded Pallas Capital.[3][2] In 2008, Pallas Capital facilitated the sale of Austroflex GmbH (annual sales at the time amounted to around 20 million euros) to the U.S. group Watts.[4]
In 2011, Pallas Capital supported the sale of the Croatian cable provider B.net to Telekom Austria with a transaction volume of 93 million euros.[5][6] At the same time, the management buy-out of the Burgenland-based and internationally active electronics company BECOM was supported.[7] In 2014, the Motel One Wien-Staatsoper opened, which was made possible by Pallas Capital through mezzanine financing.[8][9]
In 2017, Pallas Capital structured the corporate succession of the company Westcam from Tyrol.[10] Since the same year, Pallas Capital has supported the real estate project developer SORAVIA with mezzanine financing in the amount of approximately €30 million.[11]
In June 2017, a construction project with 17,000 square meters of building land in Munich with an investment volume of around 180 - 200 million euros was prepared, structured and accompanied by Pallas Capital by means of equity and mezzanine capital financing, respectively.[12]
In January 2019, Pallas Capital enabled the real estate group I live, which specializes in micro-apartments, to enter the Austrian market (Vienna).[13] Pallas Capital is also helping the residential and commercial project in Dachau, which is being carried out by Omega AG as a developer and has a total volume of around 20 million euros, by structuring mezzanine capital.[14]
