Palmdale Academy Charter School (PACS) opened its doors to around 300 ninth graders in the 2021–2022 school year, to the class of. Since opening, a grade level has been added with around 300 students every year. PACS serves students who are in ninth through eleventh grades. It is currently run by the Palmdale Elementary School District. It is open to students all over the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas. The school mascot is a jaguar.
Sports
Palmdale Academy Charter School plays in the Heritage League which features schools like Desert Christian High School and The Palmdale Aerospace Academy. PACS plays in the CIF Southern Section and was released from sports probation in the 2023–2024 school year. For its athletic facilities PACS has an $8 million sports field & track complex.

Academic Opportunities
Students who attend PACS have a chance at attending Antelope Valley College to gain credit for college while they are in high school. Currently there is only one course students can take, which is HD101. The AVC dual-enrollment classes are held at Antelope Valley College's Palmdale Center. PACS also allows for their students to be sent on excursions.
