From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Pamela Barnum is a Canadian author, keynote speaker, trust strategist, business entrepreneur, and former prosecuting attorney and undercover police officer..[1] [2]

Pamela was born Pamela Elizabeth Robinson on January 17, 1969 in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree (with Honors) from McMaster University, and a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Public Administration from The University of Western Ontario. She married Kevin Barnum in 2003 and together they have one son, Kaleb.

Pamela enjoyed a successful career as a police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police. She worked nine of her twelve policing years as an undercover police officer in the Drug Enforcement Section. Pamela was one of two women in a unit of eighty-nine officers.

Pamela married her undercover partner, Kevin, in what they affectionately refer to as their “government pre-arranged marriage”. When she became a mother she realized that buying cocaine for a living was no longer a viable career option. This prompted her to attend law school and begin a more mom-friendly career as a prosecuting attorney. Both careers were exciting and rewarding, and both taught her a lot about how to build and maintain trust.

Pamela uses her expertise to teach others how to implement trust strategies into their personal and professional lives. Her most recent project is "Trust Hack", a training course for anyone -- from business executive to sales people and couples interested in building and sustaining real trust in any situation.[3]

Pamela was a featured speaker at TEDx in Collingwood, Ontario in October 2018, presenting an overview of "Trust Hack" and how to become a "Trust Hacker,"[4]

In her first book, A Lawyer’s Case for Network Marketing, she answers the question, “Is Network Marketing a legitimate business or just a scam?”[5]

When a friend introduced her to network marketing, Pamela’s initial response was a resounding “no”. Then she did what her experience in the criminal justice system has taught her to do: she investigated. She thought it was one of those “pyramid schemes” and set out to prove it. However, after investigating the network marketing system, she and her husband Kevin walked away from six-figure salaries to pursue the profession of network marketing for time and financial freedom. [6] [7] Within eighteen months of starting their own business Pamela and her husband had replaced $250,000 in combined salaries.

Pamela, Kevin, and their son Kaleb moved from Barrie, Ontario to Fernie, British Columbia, a ski town in the Canadian Rockies where they currently reside.[8] [9]

Pamela has been featured in the following books: Hearts Beneath the Badge [10], The Flip-Flop CEO [1], The Four-Year Career[11], and The Four-Year Career for Women [12].

Pamela has partnered with leadership expert John C. Maxwell, leading 15 Invaluable Rules for Growth for Network Marketers [13]
