Pamela Kosh (* 13 March 1930) is an English-American actress and theatre director. She is perhaps best remembered for her roles as Lavinia Peach in the soap opera Days of Our Lives (1986–1992) and Mrs. Simpson in the sitcom Saved by the Bell (1989–1991).

Life[edit]

Pamela Kosh was born in Crayford, Kent on 13 March 1930.

Kosh was active in several repertory theatre groups in England both as an actress and director. Coming to the United States in 1960, she worked with theatrical companies in Boston, Miami and, finally, in Los Angeles. Here she began a second career as a character model, appearing in many national magazines before expanding into periodical television films, series, and sitcoms in a career that spanned 32 years.

In 1967, Kosh met her then-husband Walter Gilmore in a local little theatre in Southern California. Together they worked on a series of productions, Kosh and Gilmore both acting and directing. They were wed the following year and later build and managed The Golden Mall Playhouse in Burbank, California, which was in circulation between 1973 and 1981. Becoming a naturalized United States citizen in 1968, she later went on to appear as school teachers, eccentric socialites, wholesome grandmothers, and matriarch types from 1985 up until her retirement in 2017.
