Panjab Radio is the world's first 100% Panjabi language South Asian Commercial Radio station. Founded by Surjit Singh Ghuman MBE, a prominent figure in the Panjabi community. [1] [2] on 1st September 2000.
History[edit]
Panjab Radio was established in Hayes, West London. Initially starting as a small local radio station, Panjab Radio quickly gained popularity among Panjabi-speaking listeners across the UK.
With a vision to promote the Panjabi culture and language, Panjab Radio expanded its reach and programming, catering to a diverse audience with a mix of music, talk shows, news and community events.
Over the years, it has established itself as a trusted source of information and entertainment for the Panjabi diaspora in Britain.

Panjab Radio was mentioned in Radio Today when 21 years of broadcasting was completed on 1st September 2021.[5]
