Papparapaam is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language dramedy film written and directed by debutante Sasikumaran and starring Vinoth Kishan, Ishaara Nair, Yamini,[2][3] and John Vijay.[4] The film was sent to the Toronto International Film Festival.[5]

Production
Production of the film commenced in Chennai followed by major sequences being shot in places in and around Ooty.[7] The title and motion poster of the film were unveiled through a cleaning campaign[8] conducted for five weeks in Chennai.
Papparapaam traces the life of a man who wakes up at his funeral.[6] Being a fictional biography, it depicts the life of the protagonist from 1974 to 2018.[9] The film has two hundred and forty-eight characters.[5]
Mime Gopi, known for his negative roles, plays a comedic role for the first time.[10]
