Chronological Timeline
Original Series (2007- 2015)
1988 (PA3): Young Katie and Kristi (Chloe Csengery and Jessica Tyler Brown) with their mother, Julie (Lauren Bittner) and Julie's boyfriend, Dennis (Chris Smith) starts recording paranormal activity around their haunted house.
2005 (beginning of PA3 before 1988): The grown-up Katie (Katie Featherston) delivers the 1988 videotapes to her sister, Kristi (Sprague Grayden).
2006 (before the events of PA2 and PA): Kristi's son, named Hunter, was born.
Aug 2006 (beginning of PA2 before the paranormal activity starts): Burglary happens at Kristi and Daniel Rey (Brian Boland)'s house and the '88 tapes are gone missing.
Still Aug 2006 (PA2): Daniel Ray and his wife, Kristi, begin to record paranormal activity around the house.
Oct 2006 (PA): Katie (Katie Featherston) and her boyfriend, Micah (Micah Sloat) starts recording some paranormal phenomena around the house.
Oct 8, 2006 (the ending of PA): Micah was killed by a possessed Katie.
Oct 9, 2006 (the ending of PA2 and the beginning of PA4 before 2011): Daniel and Kristi Rey are killed by a possessed Katie. Once she killed them, Katie abducts Kristi's one-year-old son, Hunter. An Epilogue states that Katie and Hunter's whereabouts remain unknown.
Oct 11, 2006 (epilogue text): Micah's body was discovered by the police.
Oct 12, 2006 (epilogue text): Ali (Molly Ephraim) was on a school trip and found the bodies of his parents upon returning home.
Nov 2011 (PA4): Alex Nelson (Kathryn Newton) begins to record paranormal activity in their new house.
2013 (PA: TGD): Ryan Fleege (Chris J. Murray), his wife Emily (Brit Shaw), and their six-year-old daughter Leila (Ivy George) starts recording paranormal activity in their house.
Spin-off Series (2014)
