PARAPLEXUS; Old Latin for: He who wishes To perplex His friends In brightness With De- LIGHT

It was Paracelsus (/ˌpærəˈsɛlsəs/; 1493/1494[1] – 24 September 1541), born Theophrastus von Hohenheim (full name Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim) who first wrote about the coming of a bright human figure of this very determination. "He is an old manichaean/He speaks in the opposites/he understands." Source: Prognosticon Theophrasti Paracelsi, vol. 4 of VI Prognostica Von Verenderung vnd zufaelligem Glueck vnd Vnglueck der ... Potentaten im Roemischen Reich, Auch des Tuercken vnd Pabst ed. Henricus Neotechnus, 1620.

Paraplexus is told, by Paracelsus, to be a singer, lyricist and magician coming from the odd town of Oss in the Netherlands. He who sings to us "the old song" both of pleasure and of pain. He is supposed to be a pupil of Merlin, the valiant of King Arthur, and of a certain Paulus from Nijmegen. He who speaks all languages through music and song. A wise old man, according to Russian folk history, who preferred whistling to speaking. And music to words.

Some of his works: Where Kind is King, TestAMENt, The Palace of Sleep, Bloodtest, Klipdrift, Vuurproef, Bellum transit (natura manet).

In ancient alchemy, Paraplexus is affiliated with Земфира, a shaman from the east who professes her wisdom in deep, melancholy music. [1]
