Paritosh Uttam is an Indian English novelist[1][2] best known for his book Dreams in Prussian Blue which was published in the year 2010 by Penguin Books India and has been adapted into an award winning Malayalam drama film titled Artist (2013) written and directed by Shyamaprasad.[3] Dreams in Prussian Blue has its backdrop in Mumbai unlike the film, which is set in Kerala.[4] His other book includes The Real Deal (2016) published by Rupa.[5]

Biography[edit]

Paritosh is a graduate from IIT Madras, and has a full-time job as a software professional. He lives in Pune with his wife Smita and son Palash.[6]
