Park Hae-soo (Hangul: 박해수; born November 21, 1981) is a South Korean actor.^[3]^[4]^[5] He is best known for his starring roles in the television series Prison Playbook (2017–2018) and Squid Game (2021). He has also appeared in films such as By Quantum Physics: A Nightlife Venture (2019) and Time to Hunt (2020).

Career

Park made his musical theatre debut in 2007 with Mister Lobby. He also appears in other musical stages such as Angel Called Desire and Annapurna.^[6]

In 2017, he impressed with his lead role in the drama series Prison Playbook which earned him Best New Actor at The Seoul Awards.

Personal life

On January 14, 2019, Park married his girlfriend at a ceremony held in Seoul.^[7] On September 29, 2021, Park's agency announced that his wife had given birth to a son and that both the mother and child were in good health.^[8]
