Origins

Steve Gumaer holds the position of the organization's President and is currently a Board Director. In 2016, Partners expanded their relief effort to include the Middle East, particularly refugees and internally displaced people escaping ISIS and the Syrian conflict. In 2017, their involvement with the Rohingya refugees significantly grew when the Rohingya were forced to flee across the border into Bangladesh. [7] [8][9][10]

This includes rebuilding clinics in the Middle East, supplying medicine to clinics in eastern Myanmar, and training local health workers to provide basic healthcare and lead community sessions on health care, maternal health, malaria control, and other disease prevention topics.[16] [17] [18]
