Paska (singer)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Ari Peltonen, better known by the mononym Paska, is a Finnish a cappella rock singer who emerged in 1984. Paska is a Finnish word for feces, usually translated as "shit". The idea behind the pseudonym was to prove that anybody can make music, no matter how "paska" (crappy) it happens to be.

Peltonen is a radio show host and writer. His show used to air on one of YLE's radio channels, where his controversial punchlines and perverse humour were deemed inappropriate, leading to his swift dismissal.[citation needed]

In the 1990s, Paska performed and toured abroad a few times, mostly in the United States and Germany.[1]
