Patricia Leavy
Patricia Leavy, PhD is an award winning independent scholar, writer and speaker. She was formerly an Associate Professor of Sociology and Founding Director of Gender Studies at Stonehill College.
Education[edit]
Leavy earned her B.A. from Boston University and then proceeded to Boston College for her M.A. and Ph.D..[1]

Arts Based Research (ABR)[edit]
She is an internationally recognized leader in ABR and qualitative research. In fact, she is widely considered the world’s most visible proponent of arts-based research as a means of making research publicly accessible[2] [3]
