Patrick Chalhoub
Patrick Chalhoub is the Group President of Chalhoub Group, partner, and creator of luxury experiences in the Middle East. For over 4 decades, Patrick has been steering the family-built business through various phases of transformation and growth.
Alongside introducing and running several iconic luxury brands in the Middle East, Patrick is also behind the creation of several aspirational, home-grown luxury brands including Level Shoes, Faces, Tryano, Tanagra, Ghawali. He particularly contributed to the turnaround of the Christofle brand that today is owned by the Group and continues to reinvent itself and innovate for young consumers, venturing into the metaverse in 2022.
Patrick is also a strong advocate of embracing change to stay agile and drive strategic growth of the business, driven by purpose to inspire, exhilarate and delight; and guided by his values of respect, excellence and entrepreneurial spirit. Patrick’s fundamental belief for the Group is to nurture and establish long-term relationships and common goals. More recently, he has steered several joint ventures and acquisitions strengthening Chalhoub Group’s role as a hybrid retailer and partner of choice.
Patrick plays an instrumental role in the development of Chalhoub Group’s robust sustainability strategy with a focus on People, Partners, Planet and Community Giving through Chalhoub Impact – the Group’s community giving strategy focused on fostering education, protecting the environment and providing humanitarian relief.
Patrick is deeply committed to creating a diverse, inclusive and empathetic workplace that is welcoming to all. He is a firm advocate of servant leadership and believes in the power of reverse mentorship, always eager to stay connected with young people within and outside Chalhoub Group.
Known for his entrepreneurial spirit and a deep urge to explore untapped opportunities and contribute to local and international entities, Patrick is actively engaged in the local chapter of Endeavor, helping start-ups to scale up.
In recognition of his endeavour to promote the French art-de-vivre culture and language, the French government awarded Patrick with the medal of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite. He has also received the honour of Chevalier de l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur since January 2018.
Notably, Patrick is a Board Member of the UN Global Compact and a Council Member of UAE’s Circular Economy. He is also a Board Member of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
With his very busy schedule, Patrick always finds time to spend quality time with his family, especially his wife, life partner and biggest supporter, Ingie, his two sons Michael and Kevin, and grandson Matteo.
