Targeted for investigation for rape and sexual assault[edit]
In February 2021, the writer Florence Porcel files a complaint against Patrick Poivre d'Arvor, which leads to a preliminary investigation for rape.
The testimonies say, "To all the girls in the editorial staff, he would ask, 'Are you in a relationship, are you faithful? It had even become his nickname. "It was unthinkable not to go to the pan"[1]. Patrick's assistants saw many women (students, interns, collaborators or others) in his office, they nicknamed among themselves "for fun" "Patrick's McDonald's"[2]. "The assistants of "Poivre" were unfortunately used to seeing these young students full of hope." "Every evening after the news, we saw him pass through the premises with ethereal creatures perched on high heels."[3].
