Patrick Alexander Hubertus Count von Faber-Castell [1] began a career with the Grey Global Group after studying economics. There he was from 1993 to 1998 youngest managing director in Germany and later in [2] From London he founded further subsidiaries for the Grey Global Group, which deals with the production of films and videos. In the hot phase of the New Economy, Faber-Castell founded the film and media company Zenturio Group. In 2002, Zenturio Group was sold to a joint venture of Zeiss and Schneider AG for a double-digit million amount. After the sale of Zenturio he was a partner in the agency von Mannstein [3], which supervised the political communication and campaigning for the election campaign of the FDP in 2006 and Warsteiner, T-Online Vision and Telegate. In 2007, he left the advertising industry and has since been working in the Faber-Castell international family offices. He was one of the first investors in the company founded by Thomas Haffa, EM.TV AG. About the Junkermann Group, which he founded together with his then fiancée Nicole Brachetti-Peretti, the couple was a silent partner in Infront Sports Media. [4] This involvement earned him much negative media attention, as his business partner Robert Louis-Dreyfus allegedly abused the company for bribes to Fifa officials. [5] Infront was sold to private equity firm Bridepoint in 2011 by the consortium of shareholders. [6] At the beginning of 2014 he returned to the advertising department and advised the moving image agency Atkon. As an investor and managing director at Mediakraft Networks, he spent a year developing the system of the branded channel.

At Henkel Group, Faber-Castell has the honorary post as Company Mentor.[7] Faber-Castell also hit the headlines as real estate investor [8] and acquirer of the german porcelain producer, Rosenthal. [9] Since the beginning of 2016, Patrick Faber-Castell is Founder and Managing Director of TACSY GmbH, which is the first mover in Europe in partnership with Crossmedia Online TV Channels (so-called Flagship Channels).

He is the son of the German industrialist heir Hubertus Count von Faber-Castell and Liselotte von Faber-Castell. His father was the eldest son of the sole owner Roland Count of Faber-Castell mainstay of today’s Faber-Castell AG. His mother, Alix-May of Frankenberg and Ludwigsdorf, belonged to the owner family of europes largest private bank, Sal.Oppenheim Jr & Cie. His mother owns one of the most important collections of silver and jewelery in Germany. Most of the pieces are available to the public in various German museums. The private collection has been recorded by the Kunstmuseum Köln and has been published under the name ‘Ein Rheinischer Silber Schatz – Schmuck und Geraet aus Privatbesitz’.[10] He has two sisters. The older sister is the German-Swiss Caroline von Faber-Castell Gotzens. Floria Princess of Hesse is married to the head of the House of Hesse. [11] On December 12, 2006, he married the German actress Mariella Ahrens in New York City. The couple had previously met at the wedding of Verona and Franjo Pooth in Vienna in September 2005 and had been engaged since September 2006. The church wedding took place on July 7, 2007 in the Faber-Castell castle in Stein near Nuremberg. [12] The couple has a daughter.
