Paul Britton
Paul Britton (born July 25, 1973) is a British business executive with over 20 years of trading experience. He is the founder and CEO of Capstone Investment Advisors, a global, alternative investment management firm headquartered in New York City with $6.6 billion in assets under management.[1]
Education
Britton attended the London Metropolitan University and graduated in 1994 with a degree in European Business Finance.
Career
Britton began his career with Saratoga Limited, trading options on the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE). In 1999, he co-founded Mako Global Derivatives. Soon after, he moved to New York to establish and manage Mako's U.S. operations, the buyout of which led to the creation of proprietary trading group, Capstone Holdings Group in 2004.
After three years of managing partners' capital, Capstone Investment Advisors was formed and opened to institutional client capital in March 2007.[2]
Philanthropy
Britton serves on the Board of the U.S. Soccer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on teaching healthy and active lifestyles in underserved youth communities.[3]
