Paul Nwachukwu (born 4 April 1980 in Enugu, Nigeria) is a Nigerian retired footballer.

Career[edit]

Bangladesh[edit]

Struck six goals in what was seen as a 7-1 evisceration of Rahmatganj by Mohammedan.[14]

India[edit]

Nwahcukwu was previously on the books of the 2007/08 Mohammedan Sporting, where he volleyed a goal and laid on an assist on debut.[15] Within a year, he returned to India with JCT,[16] stating that he enjoyed being at the club and the idea of pairing upfront with Brazilian Edu.[17] However, despite starting on debut where he helped JCT edge past Dempo 2-1,[18] the Nigerian performed poorly on 14 February at Mahindra United, unable to control the ball well[19] or complete one pass.[20] After going down to Chirag United, coach Sukhwinder Singh expressed that he was disappointed with Nwachukwu's showing, adding that "He has also not done anything in whatever games he played" .[21]

Able to be the lone target man in a 4-5-1 formation due to his height, he also possesses speed and is good at holding up the ball, according to The Tribune (Chandigarh).[17]
