Marciniak’s artistic process involves combining photography with painting. Her work typically doesn’t begin with a preconceived notion of a finished product; rather, it emerges from deconstruction and reconstruction of photographic scenarios. She creates compositional works exploring chance and unravelling layers. The process takes us into a fictional space outside of time; the challenge is to see beyond the form. Exploring the language of paint, she uses it as a metaphor for the interplay between the process, the experience and emotions created [1].
