Pavithra Janani (born: 04/12/1992)[1] is an Indian television actress who has appeared in Tamil soap operas, and is best known for her roles as Malar in Eeramana Rojave and Abhinaya in Thendral Vanthu Ennai Thodum in Tamil television series. She earned her degree in Computer Science at Madras University.
Career
Pavithra started her acting career with minor roles as Vanitha in the TV series Office and in Saravanan Meenatchi seasons 2 and 3. She had a minor role in the first season of Raja Rani, as Divya, the ex-girlfriend of Karthik. Her role as Malar, a woman who is forced to marry her dead lover's brother in a twist of fate and give everything up in Eeramana Rojave gained positive acclaim from viewers.[2][3] She currently has a lead role in Thendral Vanthu Ennai Thodum as Abhinaya – a girl that has lost everything she had because a rowdy has tied the mangala sutra around her and strives to make the marriage work.[4][5]
