Early life and education
Prabuddha Dissanayake was born on August 14, 2006, in Kandy, Sri Lanka. His father, Ranil Dissanayake, is a politician and businessman, and his mother, Pramesha Nishadhi, is a teacher. He has a brother named Yehen Bandara Dissanayake.
He attended St. Anthony's Boys College Panadura, then pursued studies in English at British Way English Academy. He later pursued Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at ESOFT Metro Campus.[1]
Career
Music
Pcx1 Present released his first song, "Sellama Rap,[2]" in 2023. He gained attention through performances on platforms like TikTok and YouTube, particularly for his rendition of Eminem's "Godzilla" fast verse. His subsequent tracks include "Hipopi," "Question," "Freestyle I," "About Friends, Pt. 1," "About Friends, Pt. 2," and "Paapa Karmee,[3]" which addresses themes such as love and addiction.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
His track "Paapa Karmee"[3] achieved significant online traction, amassing over 500,000 all-time streams on major streaming platforms.
Directed projects
