Pearl Magic Prime is a Ugandan television station owned by MultiChoice Uganda/DStv. It is DStv's flagship and 24-hour general entertainment channel targeted to Ugandan middle and upper class television audiences, while it also broadcasts to other countries in Africa and beyond on DStv.[1][2]
The station was launched in February 2021, two years after the launch of the sister station Pearl Magic. Both stations are owned and headquartered at MultiChoice Uganda/DStv headquarters in Kololo, Kampala.[3] The station was launched with its new productions Prestige, Sanyu,[4] Mama and Me, and Story Yange, and added other shows in syndication with Pearl Magic.[5]
