Pearl Magic Prime is a Ugandan television station owned by MultiChoice Uganda/DStv. It is DStv's flagship and 24-hour general entertainment channel targeted to Ugandan middle and upper class television audiences while its also broadcasts to other countries in Africa and beyond on DSTv.[1][2]
The station was launched in February 2021, two years after the launch of the sister station Pearl Magic. Both stations are owned and headquartered at MultiChoice Uganda/DStv headquarters in Kololo Kampala.[3] The station was launched with its new productions Prestige, Sanyu,[4] Mama and Me and Story Yange and added other shows on syndicate with Pearl Magic.[5]
