History
2008
Pedder Auto Group was founded in August 2008 with the acquisition of their first dealership Pedder Nissan (formerly Gosch Nissan) from Gosch Auto Group.[2] The total amount of the deal was unknown due to the companies being non-public and private entities.
2011
Raceway Nissan is acquired by Pedder Auto Group. Unknown who it was bought from as it was a private deal.[3]
2012
Hemet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is being created at the 3 acre site in the Hemet Auto Mall that originally was home to a Suzuki dealership. This was the awaited return of the Hemet Chrysler Center that without warning closed their doors in 2009. Hemet Chrysler Center was not owned by Pedder Auto Group.[3]
2014
Lake Elsinore Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram was acquired alongside with Temecula Nissan (formerly Quality Nissan)[4]. It is unknown if Lake Elsinore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was acquired or founded by Pedder Auto Group.
2018-2019
Hemet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram outgrew its old dealership building and moved to a brand new building across the street to 425 Motor Way, Hemet, CA 92545. The ground breaking ceremony took place in July 2018 with many Hemet officials there such as Mayor Michael Perciful and Councilmember Russ Brown.[5] The old dealership became the Pedder Nissan Used Car Center.
2021
Pedder Auto Group purchased Poway Hyundai and Poway Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram from Mark Abelkop. This deal was made using the services of Performance Brokerage Services, who acted as a middle man in the deal.[6]
