Pedro Álvarez de las Asturias

Pedro Álvarez de Asturias (d. 1286) was a Spanish nobleman and magnate, the son of Alvaro Diaz (nobleman).[1] He was the lord of Noreña, Gijón, and County of Trastámara.[1] He was also the Mayordomo of Sancho IV of Castile from 20th of April 1285 to 15th of October 1286.[1] He married Sancha Rodriguez de Lara daughter of Rodrigo Alvarez de Lara.[1] He had three children including Pedro Alvarez de Asturias II, Rodrigo Alvarez de Asturias who succeeded him as lord of Noreña.[citation needed]
