Pedro José Sandoval (born 12 July 1964) is a Venezuelan artist, known for his abstract neo-expressionist artwork. Much of his work deals with color, movement, and texture.[1] His work is in the permanent collection of the Boca Raton Museum of Art.[2] Since 2003, he lives and works between Madrid, Berlin, and New York City.[3]

Pedro Sandoval was born in Venezuela in 1964.[citation needed] He began his career in the 1970s, first working in figurative artwork and eventually moving into large, abstract artwork.[4]

In 2010, he made collaborative work with Spanish fashion designer Maria Lafuente, Sandoval painted fabric later used by Lafuente in her designs for the 52nd edition of Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week.[5][6]
