Pekka ja Pätkä puistotäteinä (Swe. Kalle Träskalle och Stumpen som parktanter) is a Finnish musical comedy film released in 1955. It's the fourth film in the Pekka and Pätkä series and third to be directed by Armand Lohikoski.
The film stars Esa Pakarinen, Masa Niemi and Siiri Angerkoski. It was also the debut of Armas Jokio as Janitor Pikkarainen, who would become a series regular here-after. It features the third consecutive appearance of Olavi Virta in the film series. At 64 minutes, it's also the shortest of the films in the series. Risto Jussila plays Otto the street-child.
Plot Summary[edit]
Pekka and Pätkä desperately need work to avoid an eviction from their appartment by the surly Pikkarainen. They sign up as park nannies, taking care of children at a public park. However, they're run off for doing such a poor job. They happen by Otto, a boy wandering the streets, and take him with them in order to earn some money. Eventually, Otto is shown to be a gifted singer and starts earning money for Pekka and Pätkä.
Meanwhile, Otto's father (Virta) returns from the high seas, having left Otto in the care of his aunt who has abandoned Otto. FI:Pekka ja Pätkä puistotäteinä
