Performing Arts Redefined
Established in October 1992, the periodical *PAR* is published by the NTCH. It is the only Mandarin Chinese periodical that combines reviews of the humanities and performing arts. Currently, it is published bi-monthly in each odd-numbered month along with a special issue in December, for a total of seven issues per year. Its contents encompass music, theatre, choreography, and traditional Chinese music. With the latest news, special projects, interviews, recommendations, and reviews, *PAR* introduces the most recent renowned works and creators to performing arts lovers, and also offers them first-hand information from the performing arts circle. *PAR* is also available online on the NTCH website.[1]
