Perry Gershon is an American businessman and politician from the state of New York.
Gershon graduated from Yale University magna cum laude.[1] He enrolled in medical school, but dropped out and started in business with a sports bar in Manhattan. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and worked in commercial mortgage finance for Nomura Holdings and Royal Bank of Scotland. He opened his own private equity company.[2]
In the 2018 elections, Gershon is running for the United States House of Representatives in New York's 1st congressional district.[2] He won the Democratic Party nomination.[3]
Gershon married Lisa (née Post) in 1995.[1]
