Peter Hawkins (born October 7, 1950) is an author, consultant and researcher in leadership, strategy, culture change and organisational learning.[1]
Career[edit]
Professor Hawkins developed both The Five Disciplines of Highly Effective Teams[2] and the Seven Eyed Model of Supervision.[3]
He is the author of many best-selling books and papers on leadership, board and team coaching, systemic coaching, supervision, and organizational transformation.[4]
He was joint founder, in 1986, of Bath Consultancy Group and its chairman until the company was sold in 2010 and has chaired three other company boards as well as being a trustee director of several charities.[5]
In 2010 he founded Renewal Associates which provides organisational consultancy and leadership and team coach training around the world. He is still the chairman of the company.[6]
He was Professor of Leadership at Henley Business School, University of Reading, and since 2020 is an Emiritus professor there.[7] He is a visiting Professor at the University of Bath and Oxford Brookes and has also taught in universities both in the UK and South Africa.[8]

In 2019 he was shortlisted in Thinkers50 / MarshallGoldsmith's Top 100 Coaches of the World Award.[9] In 2023 he was shortlisted for the Marshall Goldsmith Coaching and Mentoring Award.[10]
