Phil Bodmer is a British television broadcaster, mainly notable for presenting Look North.

Early life[edit]

He was born in Lothingland Rural District in Norfolk.

Career[edit]

Broadcasting[edit]

Radio Broadland was started in 1984, and he was one of the early presenters. Since January 2009, the station has been known as Heart Norwich.

He joined the BBC in 1994, where he was at Radio Sheffield for five years. In 2003 he joined Look North in Yorkshire (the Emley Moor edition).[1] He has also co-presented on BBC Radio York.

Personal life[edit]

He lives in York; Harry Gration also lives in York. He married Julia Forster in June 1999 in Sheffield. They have a son, born in March 2003.
