Phil Gill (born 6 May 1982) is a professional boxer who competes in the lightweight division.[1]
Gill began boxing at the age of 18 in the army and had his first professional fight on 5 March 2009. He is currently managed by London-based promoter Mickey Helliet and is trained by Paul Rees at the Monster Gym.[2]
On 25 July 2010, Gill completed a 13-mile assault course in order to raise money for Cityboxer charity Kidsgloves, which provides opportunities for underprivileged young people from Southwark and Lambeth.[3]
On 11 September, Gill defeated Damien Turner at the York Hall, Bethnall Green. Gill won every round of the fight, as well as scoring a knockdown in the fourth round.[4]
