Early Life
Philip C. Quaintrell was born in Cheshire, England.[1]
Career
Quaintrell started his career as a nurse, writing sci-fi novel Intrinsic in his spare time in 2013.[2]
After a couple of years of rejection by publishing agencies, Quaintrell decided to self-publish in 2016, releasing Intrinsic and Tempest, books 1 and 2 of The Terran Cycle.[3]
After a bout of writer's block, Quaintrell began writing Rise of the Ranger, the first book in a new epic fantasy series, The Echoes Saga, self-publishing it in May 2017. Soon after, Quaintrell stepped back from nursing and took on a full-time career as a writer.[1][3]
Quaintrell signed a deal with Podium Audio in 2018 for audio rights to The Echoes Saga, narrated by Steven Brand, and later The Terran Cycle, narrated by George Newbern.[4]
In September 2020, Quaintrell was featured on The Bestseller Experiment podcast.[2]
