Influence in pyrotechnics

The organization's primary activities revolve around the annual Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC), and other major local shows from the country.

The PPEA plays a significant role in promoting and enhancing the pyrotechnic arts within the Philippines. Their contributions include:[1]

  • Digital Fireworks Festivals: PPEA hosts events like IGNITE!, a digital fireworks festival that showcases innovative pyrotechnic designs and fosters community engagement.[2]
  • National Competitions and Shows: Members participate in national events, such as the PIPC.
  • Advocating for Safety and Regulation: PPEA collaborates with the Philippine Pyrotechnics Manufacturers and Dealers Association Inc. (PPMDAI) and Philippine Fireworks Association (PFA) to conduct seminars on fireworks safety, and advocates for the establishment of regulatory bodies overseeing pyrotechnic activities.[3]
  • Educational Initiatives: The group plans to partner with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to develop the country's first pyrotechnic course aimed at training professionals and enhancing industry standards.[3]
