Physics Wallah is an Indian Edtech company based in New Delhi. It provides training for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) to undergraduate students. The company was initially started as a Youtube channel in 2014 by Alakh Pandey, a Physics & Chemistry teacher. It offers online on YouTube Channel, Later on, it starts offline courses on its app and its offline center called ‘Pathshala’ provides services throughout India. The company currently has 6.32 million subscribers on Youtube Channels after launch of Physics Wallah Mobile application, the startup has shown significant growth due to courses having quality content at minimal costing which is 90% less compared to the rest of the market.

In 2014, Alakh Pandey, founder of Physics Wallah, who hails from Uttar Pradesh, started his own Youtube channel in which he taught Physics. After seeing a positive response from students, he broadened his area of specialization and started providing learning to technical and medical students preparing for competitive examinations.
Later in 2021, they launched a Physics Wallah app, which currently has a rating of 4.7 by 3.55 lakh reviews on Google Playstore with over 1,500 selections in JEE Advance and 5000+ selections in NEET. In 2021, Alakh Pandey was also conferred with "Rising EdTech Startup of India" in Rise Startup to Unicorn Conclave 2021’ organized by Zee Media Group for giving accessible quality education to masses.

Alakh Pandey is the founder of Physics Wallah Pvt. Ltd. and well known as an Indian educational Guru. He was born in Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technical Institute, Kanpur. He was an excellent student in academics from the beginning.
Since 2017, He is professionally teaching science to the students for free on YouTube. He is famous for his different teaching style and caring nature among the students. For the welfare of the students, he makes every possible effort to provide equality in the education system. So that every student can avail quality education.
After that Alakh Pandey promoted to Physics Wallah and started as a YouTube Channel in 2016. However, they launched its Mobile Application in 2020 for the betterment of the students as the result that they could continue their preparations for JEE/NEET. Therefore, students and parents have accepted the importance of Online Education and considerable growth has been witnessed in EdTech.
