Pierre Pienaar

Pierre Pienaar (born May 5, 1987) is a Namibian DJ and trance music producer. Currently signed to Nukleuz Records. Under his various aliases he has produced and remixed for artists like Mauro Picotto, Ratty, Mario Più, Lost Witness, Stu Allan, BK, Technikal and many others.

He is the Head of Nukleuz Green Records, which has brought artists like Mauro Picotto, Joy Kitikonti, Mario Piu, DJ Energy and many others to the forefront of the scene.

His most successful releases to date was the UK Dance TOP10 hit called Global Panic which was a collaboration with long-time production partner Alf Bamford aka Technikal and released on Tidy. Others include 'Tsunami' and 'Worlds Apart' with singer/song-writer Kate Smith and his remixes of CRW 'I Feel Love', Ratty 'Sunrise', BK 'POS 51' and Rachel Loy 'I Can Feel It'.

Early life[edit]

Pierre Pienaar was born in Windhoek in the then South-West Africa to an Afrikaner family. Growing up in independent Namibia, he expressed his musical passion already as a teen. Pienaar started DJ'in at the age of 15.
