Pierre Valkering
Pierre Valkering (born August 8 1960 in Santpoort) is a Roman-catholic dutch priest and author.
Life[edit]
In his childhood Valkering lived in Santpoort and later in Apeldoorn, in Purmerend and Zuidoostbeemster. Valkering studied roman-catholic theology. On March 12, 1994, Valkering became roman catholic priest in Roman Catholic Diocese of Haarlem-Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, he works as catholic priest at catholic church Our Lady Queen of Peace.[1]
In July 2019, Valkering outed himself as a homosexual priest. After his outing as a gay priest in Amsterdam he was dismissed by the catholic bishop Jos Punt. In December 2010, Valkering won in Rome his vatican appeal against his dismission.[2][3] As author Valkering wrote several books.[4]
