Pieter van Huystee Film
Pieter van Huystee Film [1] is an independent film- and television production company specialized in documentaries. It was founded in 1995 by Pieter van Huystee at the Noordermarkt in Amsterdam. The main goals of the organization are raising funds and discussing new ideas with television broadcasters.
In 2000 Van Huystee won a Golden Calf Special Jury Prize [2] for his work as a producer. He produced the documentaries Desi (film) and Angels of Death, both awarded with a Golden Calf, as well as many other documentaries. His documentary But Now Is Perfect [3] won the Special Jury Award for Dutch Documentary [4] at the 2018 International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam.
