Pinochestein 3D is a mod of the video game Doom created by Vittorio Farfán,[1] from Trippas Producciones in the city of Talca, Chile, in tribute to the 10 years of the saga. Its name comes from a pun between Augusto Pinochet and the video game Wolfenstein 3D.
The game is about a fictitious coup in Chile in 2058, by the company Pinochestein S.A. and the Uni-pacos (a reference to Carabineros de Chile), in which the player takes the role of John Kerosene, who will try to destroy this organization and stop the conflict.[1]
Plot
In the year 2053, the Government of Chile is taken over by the first independent candidate, according to the trailer, an "aquatic hippie president" (sic). He is unable to control power and chaos takes over the territory. Faced with this, the Fundación Pinochestein decides to act, working on secret projects to revive dead soldiers who had already carried out a previous coup. (Although the game is a parody, its inspiration is the 1973 coup in Chile).
One of the first results is John Kerosene, who in his previous life was a black beret with great merits, and does not agree on the way the troops act or the way they operate with criminals. One day John decides to kill his superior, to defend a community of aquatic hippies.
John Kerosene is taken as prisoner two weeks before D-day, September 2058. The Foundation's troops together with the Uni-pacos (a branch of the Carabineros de Chile recently created in order for the Chilean police to be on the side of the Fundación Pinochestein) take power from the government. Torture of innocents is on the rise and has been clearly excessive.
John Kerosene decides to escape from jail to terminate the organization, led by someone unknown, which he will have to eliminate to end this massacre once and for all.
