Piotr Kapuściński
Piotr Kapuściński (known in Ukraine as Sasha Kuchynsky[1][2][3][4]) is a polish citizen, former gang member and Ukraine foreign legion official. In Poland, Kapuściński was involved in petty crime, money laundering and assisting assassination but reached plea deal and collaborated with Polish judiciary, therefore avoiding major comdamnations.[1] Ressurfacing in war-torn Ukraine, Kapuściński (now known as Sasha Kuchynsky), was the de facto executive lead of a 500-men strong part of the Ukraine foreign legion. There, he was denounced by his troops for corruption, threats with weapons, sexual harassment on female medics, leading to official complains and news reports.[1][2][3][5] Among accusations, Kuchynsky is alleged to have scooped and resold public-funded military equipment aimed at his frontline units, both outward and to his own soldiers. Kuchynsky is also accused to have used his military authority to order looting of Ukrainian stores to his personal benefit.[1][2][3] An investigation is ongoing.[1]
