Pipalkoti (THDC)

The Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project is located on river Alaknanda, a major tributary of river Ganga, in the district Chamoli in the state of Uttarakhand.[1] Its installed capacity will be 444 (4×111) MW, when completed. The project is based on a run-of-the-river scheme.
