Pir Shams Deen (Sindhi: پير شمس الدين),[1] was an Ismailis Islamic preacher, Sindhi language poet and Ginans composer born in Gazni, Afghanistan in 1165. He remained an Islamic teacher from 1201 to 1267. He stayed in Multan, that's why he is known as Pir Shams Deen Multani as well. [2]
